Die Flügel sind anders geformt, die 3te und 4te Schwinge verhältnissmässig länger; Schwanz ahgerundet [sic], weniger stufig mit breiteren Federn und weisser Spitzenfärbung. — Nahe verwandt mit P. temporalis ist:  P. rubeculus. — Pomatorhinus rubeculus Gould."
